Problem with my family cinema

ever since the update - we are being told that we have insufficient memory. we have deleted apps on our device, favorites saved, cleared cache — anything to bring the memory lower. while our device has sufficient memory as we don’t use anything but MFC on it - we don’t know what else we can do to stop it from freezing every 20 minutes. any help would be appreciated.
